The pencil sketches are a rapidly executed freehand drawing that is not intended as a finished work. However, a well-crafted sketch can be a piece of art in its own right.
The sketches are not an idea for later use or to complete at a later stage. They are my visual expression and way of recording what I see when I look at people or objects.
Usually made with a continuous line and without pause, these sketches are done without any line breaks and in the space of a few minutes. I never re-touch or erase the lines of the sketches afterwards.
